The continuing objective of AAMA is to develop the highest levels of technical expertise, while supporting members with business services and marketing research programs for their growth and success.

The American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) is a not-for-profit organization that provides a forum for the development and publication of voluntary consensus standards for materials, products, systems and services. ASTM standards serve as a basis for manufacturing, procurement and regulatory activities.

The National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC) establishes test criteria that set the standard for performance ratings for manufacturers of window and door products. The NFRC provides consistent ratings on window, door and skylight products. The primary goal of the NFRC is to provide accurate information on the energy performance of these products.

UL Classified is a logo consumers have learned to trust over the generations. Products that display the Underwriters Laboratories logo have been strenuously tested to ensure that they are safe for everyday use. Underwriters Laboratories applies these same safety considerations to manufacturers of building materials, including vinyl windows. We voluntarily submit to annual UL testing and quarterly inspections to assure you that our window products are UL Classified to ASTM E84.

ENERGY STAR® is a voluntary partnership among the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the fenestration industry. It assists consumers in recognizing energy-efficient products and promoting the environmental and economic benefits of these products through labeling and other activities.
